What Is an online vision board and why you need one

It’s a scientific fact the vision boards work. A vision board is simply a board on which you display a large collection of images that represent whatever you need to become or have in life. Creating a vision board is an excellent way to bring clarity to your desire and turn it into an attainable goal. Perhaps your goal is to trim down, further your education, or set up a business. Whatever your goal, a vision board will help you attain it. There’s only one rule to making a vision board, and it’s that there aren’t any rules. Everyone is different so no two vision boards can ever be the same even if you always do a similar activity with your spouse, your family member or your close friend. If you have been wondering what is an online vision board and tradition vision board, read on to find out.

Why make a vision board?

We, humans, are a very busy species. While we can all list the things we don’t need in our lives, being specific about what we do want can sometimes pose lots of challenges. As such, creating a sacred space that shows what you want to achieve is crucially important. Vision boards give you images that you can focus on to help you bring your goals to life. When you make a vision board and put it in a place where you can see it often, it reminds you of the goals you are working towards every day. This is a handy tool to have whenever you encounter challenges somewhere along the way.

Do vision boards really work?

In one word, “yes”. They work in a sense that they help the autosuggestion process of impressing our subconscious mind with ideas. The ideas we impress on our subconscious mind will then be expressed through our bodies, and manifest in our lives and in our reality.

Vision boards help this process by putting in front of us the images of our desires. The more we see those images, the more we think about those desires. The more we think about them, the more potency they receive, and the more they are impressed on our subconscious mind. Once they are there, our reality starts to change according to those impressed ideas.

What is the difference between a vision board and an online vision board?

There are two types of vision boards—traditional physical vision boards and online vision boards. A traditional vision board is created by cutting out pictures or words from different sources, including books or magazines and sticking them onto the corkboard, an album or a book to create the visual representation. With online vision boards, you create representations of all the things that you wish to have, become, or do in your life directly online. With this online technique, you have a chance to add multi-sensory tools like relaxing music to super-charge your thoughts.

A vision board vs. an online vision board

As stated earlier, there aren’t any rules to making a vision board. If you have a vision board at home and can see it from time to time that’s enough, right? Wrong. Realize that the power of the vision boards comes from seeing the images on a regular basis, focusing on your goals and maintaining the state of what you desire. How can you do that if you are spending 8 to 10 hours a day at work? One of the main benefits of online vision boards is the fact that you can take them with you anywhere you go — on your tablet, smartphone and on your laptop, meaning you can see them more than once or twice a day.

I have read so many times about the utilities of having a vision board but somehow leave it until now without doing it. It is not that I do not have the ideas, but I just skip it.
I guess I need to lose the fear of creating one and enjoy and trust the process.
Thank you for the idea of using an online one, and for reminding me the importance of having all our plans clear.

      My pleasure.

It really does help to have one.

Mine is on my computer’s desktop, so I see it everyday at least once.

I sometimes seat back and relax and focus on one of the mages that appear there and then just imagine how it would feel to have that manifestation.

  2. What great informative and thought provoking article. To get ahead in life we all need to set goals to achieve objectives and what better way than to create the vision boards, in whatever form you choose. As you rightly say having these in front of you each day sets the self affirmation process in place in your sub conscious

This is an excellent idea! I have thought of this before. I thought a poster of a body builder would motivate me to work out. Which has been a goal of mine for some time. Now I know they’re called a vision board. I’m going to be making mine very asap.

I hadn’t thought of how effective this method could be in trying to reach our goals. I’m glad you shared this information with us today.
